Finance analyst

Our client, a business that has continued to grow throughout the last few years are looking for a Finance Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. Your main experience would be within management accounting at a Part-qualified level looking to grow and develop within a role and develop financial analysis skills. You will be working on a Hybrid work pattern with around 2 days in the office which can be Kent or London.

Responsibilities include:-

Interpret financial results and provide insight to key stakeholders.
Monitor and challenge weekly KPIs to help the business meet its objectives; track actions and see through to completion.
Review site level profitability with a particular focus on staff costs to support the FM in challenging overspends.
Support and help manage the budget setting process.
Assist with tender submissions, fee analysis and cost breakdowns.
Develop strong, professional relationships with all levels of the business to support managers in taking ownership of their financial performance.
Be comfortable deputising for the Finance Manager when required.
Supervision of members within the team.
Ad hoc projects and analysis.

Individuals will require the following skills, experience and abilities in order to be considered for this role:

A part-qualified accountant with a strong commercial background (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
Strong MS Excel skills are essential.
Working towards a recognised accounting qualification.
Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.
Proactive and ambitious, looking to grow and develop with the role.
Prior experience of working in a Management Accounts and/or Finance Analyst role is advantageous
